JST Power Equipment Adds Dry-Air 38kV Rating to Gas-Insulated Switchgear Product Lineup

Lake Mary, FL – JST Power Equipment recently announced the official launch of its 38kV rated, J20N Dry-Air Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS). With decades of global recognition for industry-leading lead times, unparalleled reliability, and engineering know-how, JST Power’s switchgear solutions are specially designed for continuous development and optimization.

Alex Ivanov, Applications Engineer for JST Power’s Switchgear Division states, “While all of our GIS frames include these ratings from 69kV, 1200A, 31.5 kA and 38 kV, 3000 A, to 40 kA. Now, our J20N™ GIS with dry-air application is rated up to 38 kV, 1200 A, 31.5 kA and it provides many advantages for our customers. For example, because our GIS lineup supports a wide range of configurations, we can deliver robust switching and fault-interruption capabilities to meet demanding power system requirements.”

In addition to the powerful performance across ratings, JST Power’s 38kV GIS features an ultra-compact design, making it an ideal solution for installations where space is limited—such as dense urban environments, offshore platforms, and confined industrial sites.
