Our manufacturing facility in Wuhan, China is a “zero-carbon” smart industrial park. It represents JST’s largest independently constructed green industry park in China and encompasses a range of facilities and systems, including a high-end transformer digital factory, an energy storage equipment digital factory, a rooftop photovoltaic power station, a medium and high voltage cascaded energy storage system, and a smart energy management system.

The Wuhan facility embraces the Internet of Things (IoT), big data and AI technologies into its intelligent manufacturing operations. The facility includes an assembly workshop, test center, iron core workshop, casting workshop, winding workshop and foil winding workshop. The digital factory spans all business stages, from R&D to after-sales service, while extending horizontally to supply chain management. It enables automation across production lines, logistics, and information flow.
Our digital transformer factory produces dry-type transformers that range up to 80 MVA. The facility includes a core workshop to support the manufacturing of our high-end dry-type transformers. In addition, JST has established a dry-type transformer materials laboratory dedicated to conducting performance research aiming to provide accurate data support for simulation analysis.
Our digital transformer factory produces a wide range of custom engineered liquid-immersed small power transformers with power ratings ranging from 5 MVA to 100 MVA (max with fans). The facility produces roughly 800 units per year.
Our Wuhan facility produces fully customizable battery energy storage systems ranging from 6 kV to 35 kV with a maximum stand-alone capacity of 2 MW / 4 MWh. The intelligent manufacturing production line integrates machine vision technology and intelligent sensing technology. It achieves real-time monitoring of key parameters in the production process through high-precision image recognition systems and intelligent sensing systems, thereby improving the detection speed and accuracy of products and significantly optimizing the resource utilization efficiency of the production line.
