JST Power Equipment announces open house event at its new transformer manufacturing plant in Virginia, USA

Wytheville, VA—JST Power Equipment will welcome visitors on Tuesday, June 3 from 10 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm at its new three-phase padmount transformer manufacturing facility located within the Fairview Industrial Park in the Town of Wytheville, Virginia.

With approximately 150 US-based employees, the company seeks to recruit multiple team members for various positions to support the Wytheville facility. In addition, the company will also welcome trade and local vendors interested in working with the company in the areas of building operations support, product component and transportation. 

The Wytheville, Virginia factory is fundamental to manufacturing transformers in the US due to location, supply chain, and robust industry knowledge.

“We are very pleased to continue this investment and journey in Virginia”, said Paul Cairney, Vice President of the Transformer Group. “We open our doors to Wytheville and surrounding areas where we will have several staff from the JST executive team, operations, sales, marketing, engineering and Human Resources available to meet and discuss the many opportunities we have available.”
