Quality & Warranty Manager - Wytheville Facility

Position Overview

Responsibilities and Duties

• Create a world-class quality mindset and environment
• Support 5S/6S, eQMS, and PFMEA implementation
• Implement ISO 9000:2015 and ensure customer and regulatory compliance
• Create the quality and warranty processes for success
• Maintain high-quality standards while adhering to tight deadlines
• Coordinate client inspections and meet expectations
• Develop and implement quality assurance plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Validate quality processes for effectiveness and efficiency
• Maintain product quality through audits, investigations, and corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and manufacturing processes
• Enhance product quality and operational efficiency
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of quality raw materials
• Identify and resolve production-related quality issues promptly
• Manage the schedule, disposition, and processing of warranty service
• Provide leadership and team supervision
• Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ensure quality assurance and control expertise
• Show technical proficiency in transformer production and testing
• Communicate and report effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cost optimization
• Team supervision including but not limited to training, staff development and succession planning.
• Engage stakeholders: Act as the primary contact for quality and warranty-related communications
• Monitor quality and warranty progress, preparing detailed reports on trends, corrective actions, milestones, and deliverables for senior management
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and organizational standards
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with product quality and performance
