Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from order entry through project commissioning, ensuring successful delivery, customer satisfaction, and repeat business. This role manages technical and commercial project requirements for transformer products, including Dry Type and Padmount units. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring on-time, accurate, and cost-effective project execution.
A. Key Responsibilities
- Review orders from both technical and commercial perspectives during negotiation and order entry.
- Execute projects according to technical specifications, commercial terms, and contractual requirements.
- Manage all project phases including scheduling, progress tracking, shipment coordination, invoicing, and status reporting.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for all project‑related communications.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, engineering, sales, and other internal departments to ensure alignment and project success.
- Prepare quotations and process change orders; ensure accuracy in booking and margin management.
- Ensure on‑time delivery of drawings, documentation, and product shipments.
- Monitor project progress to ensure cost control, resource efficiency, risk management, and compliance with safety and environmental policies.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, documenting lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
- Support light cleanup and organization of the work area as part of standard workplace responsibilities.
B. Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer‑focused mindset.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, think creatively, and solve complex problems.
- High level of initiative and self‑motivation.
- Preferred:
- Background or working knowledge of transformer products (Dry Type, Padmount, or similar).
- Experience in a manufacturing or technical industry.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, project management software, or technical documentation tools.
