Position Overview
JST Power Equipment is seeking a professional Engineering Supervisor to join our growing team. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality power equipment solutions and fostering a collaborative work environment.
A. Responsibilities and Duties
- Sales and Strategy Planning
- Monitor cost and pricing fluctuations according to market conditions, supply chain pricing, and design complexity.
- Review source manufacturing cost variability to quotation effectiveness
- Team Supervision
- Serve as part of the recruitment interview team when a role on the team is open.
- Train, mentor and manage the team assigned.
- Provide technical guidance and manage project execution.
- Work with department management to set individual and team performance targets and provide regular feedback.
- Collaborate with management to prepare performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and implement development programs.
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, source manufacturing facilities and partners.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues and ensuring the delivery of quality service.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and deliver reports, as requested by senior and division leadership.
- Analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and deadlines are met.
- Collaboration with Other Departments
- Work closely with all departments to provide streamlined support and align strategies.
B. Qualifications and Skills
- Electrical Engineering Degree, additional Mechanical engineering experience a plus
- 5+ years of experience with transformer products (all types)
- 5+ years of successful personnel management & team growth
- CAD / SolidWorks experience
- Experience using Drawing Management Systems, Salesforce, CRM tools
- Ability to work independently, safely, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong technical skills related to electrical engineering and power electronics.
- Familiarity with power electronic equipment including low, medium, and high-voltage Transformers
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening) and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of professionals.
- Experience in managing high-volume design, review, quotations, price management, cost controls, etc.
- Solid time management skills
- Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork

C. Education and Experience
