Vice President of Transformers Operations
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Ignacio Castro to Vice President of Transformers Operations.
Ignacio has been an invaluable member of the JST team for more than seven years, serving as the Plant Manager of our Nogales, Mexico facility. Throughout his tenure, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. Ignacio brings an impressive combination of academic achievement and industry expertise to this role. He holds an MBA in Finance and has built a distinguished career spanning more than 28 years in manufacturing and operations leadership. Prior to joining JST, Ignacio served in leadership roles with Mertz Manufacturing, Milbank Power Manufacturing, and Woodcrafters, where he successfully led plant operations and drove organizational performance. He also served as Director of Quality for Otis Elevator, further strengthening his extensive background in operational excellence and quality systems.
During his time with JST, Ignacio has consistently delivered outstanding results while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. His leadership has been instrumental in the growth and success of our Nogales operations, and his strategic vision and dedication have earned the respect of colleagues, employees, and customers alike. In his new role as Vice President of Transformers Operations, Ignacio will continue to play a critical role in driving operational performance, supporting our growth initiatives, and advancing JST’s commitment to excellence across all areas of transformer manufacturing and operations.
