Position Overview
Effective project management skills and deliver results from order entry to project commissioning that ensure repeatable customer business. Products could include transformers (Dry type & Padmount).
A. Responsibilities and Duties
- Review orders from a technical and commercial standpoint during negotiation and order entry as required.
- Execution of orders based on technical specifications and commercial contractual requirements.
- Project management of orders including scheduling, tracking, shipment, invoicing coordination, and being the primary customer contact for all project related matters.
- Full technical and commercial coordination with customers and suppliers through appropriate sales channel.
- Accountable for quotation and booking of change orders, shipped margin, on-time delivery of drawings, on time shipments and collection of receivables.
- Monitor each stage of project implementation to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, risk management and health, safety, and the environment.
- Identify, analyze, and address project risks, with the regular sharing of lessons learned.
B. Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or business administration or equivalent experience.
- Resourceful and able to think outside of the box to reach a solution.
- Customer focused mindset; Strong organizational / communication skills.
- Demonstrate negotiation skills in interaction with internal and external customers.
- Must be self-motivated with a high level of creativity
- Complex problem-solving skills required.
- Background experience in transformers is a plus.
