Gas Insulated Switchgear – GIS

JST’s Medium voltage gas-insulated switchgear offering consists of fixed-mounted vacuum circuit breakers that are connected to the main bus through three-position switches.

JST’s air insulated switchgear  a new generation of miniaturization gas insulated medium voltage switchgear for distribution applications that utilizes advanced technologies of laser, sensing, composite insulation and electric field optimization, informatized and intelligent production and control methods to ensure product’s quality and reliability.

JST’s medium voltage gas-insulated switchgear is tested according to the following standards:

IEC 62271-200, IEC 62271-103, IEC 62271-105, IEC 62271-102, IEC 62271-100, IEC 480, GB11023, GB12022 and GB11033

A robust medium voltage solution utilizing SG6 gas as an insulating medium.  C-GIS is offered in a wide range of ratings designed for use in primary distribution applications.  We offer a variety of panel configurations at the following ratings:

  • 5kV / 1,250-2,500A / 31.5kA
  • 12-24kV / 1,250-2,500A / 25-31.5kA

Ring Main Unit is a medium voltage solution utilizing SF6 gas as an insulating medium.  RMU is offered in a range of ratings designed for use on secondary distribution applications.  We offer a variety of panel configurations to suit all the required needs at the following ratings:

  • 5kV / 630A / 25kA
  • 12-24kV / 630-1,250A / 20-25kA

An eco-friendly ring main unit used on medium voltage applications utilizing N2 gas as an insulating medium.  For use in lighter duty secondary distribution applications, we offer a variety of panel designs at the standard ratings:

  • 12kV / 630A / 20kA

For use on medium voltage applications utilizing an epoxy resin composite as an insulating medium.  For use on secondary distribution applications, we offer a variety of panel designs at the standard ratings:
