Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized individual to fill our role as a Supply Chain Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, production planning, scheduling, logistics, inventory management, and supplier performance, with a strong focus on project management and cross-functional coordination. This role ensures that materials, resources, and information flow efficiently through the organization while driving strategic initiatives, process improvements, and on-time project execution.
A. Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Operations:
- Lead and manage daily supply chain functions including procurement, planning, scheduling, warehousing, and logistics.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and internal project milestones.
- Optimize inventory levels and implement forecasting strategies to achieve service level and cost targets.
- Monitor supplier performance, negotiate terms, and maintain healthy supplier relationships.
- Project Management:
- Manage supply chain–related projects from initiation through completion, including new product launches, facility expansions, process changes, and system implementations.
- Drive cross-functional project teams, ensuring tasks are clearly defined, assigned, and completed on schedule.
- Create project plans, perform risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate progress to leadership.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to resolve complex supply chain issues.
- Use project management methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Lean) to standardize workflows and flexible enough to manage multiple projects at one time while delivering results for the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
- Data & Systems Management:
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage demand planning, scheduling, and materials control.
- Support ERP upgrades or integration projects through planning, data validation, training, and testing.
- Analyze supply chain data for trends, constraints, and improvement opportunities.
B. Qualifications:
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, materials management, or operations; manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Strong project management experience with a proven record of leading cross‑functional initiatives.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems for planning, scheduling, and materials management.
- Advanced skills in Excel and/or data analytics tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities
- Knowledge of lean principles, logistics best practices, and supplier management.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Preferred:
- Master’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CPIM, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Experience working in electrical manufacturing, engineered‑to‑order products, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
- Experience leading ERP implementation or system integration projects.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with import/export compliance, freight optimization, and global sourcing.
- Experience managing teams or leading through influence in a matrixed environment.
C. Work Environment:
- Primarily based in a manufacturing facility with regular interaction on the production floor.
- Exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures during plant visits.
- Standard business hours; may require flexibility to support production or project needs.
- Occasional travel (5–15%) to vendors, customers, or other facilities.
