Position Overview
The Project Management Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and completion of projects within the Transformer division. This role involves coordinating project activities, overseeing timelines, and ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a keen understanding of the power industry, particularly in Transformers.
A. Responsibilities and Duties
- Project Coordination
- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Communications and Reporting
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation as required.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas and tracking action items.
- Resource Management
- Assist in the allocation and management of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Track project expenses and assist in budget management.
- Risk Management
- Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Travel
- For business meetings and or customer visits as needed.
B. Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to schedule, work between various groups and continually update the customer
- Knowledge of the power industry and Transformers is highly desirable.
C. Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or currently pursuing a degree in Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in the power industry.
