Position Overview
Provide technical support to team members and ensure the efficient functioning of all IT systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications And Skills
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field.
- Experience in an IT support role, with hands-on knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with common operating systems and office productivity software.
- Experience in hybrid environment with prem, AzureAD, Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune, Autopilot, Teams, SharePoint and Power Apps, Automate, and BI.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, and in person.
- Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of operating systems, software applications, and network devices.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure the security and functionality of IT systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with both hardware and software applications.
- Support network infrastructure by assisting in the configuration of firewalls, routers, switches, VLANs, wireless networks and VPN.
- Document and track support requests in a ticketing system and follow up to ensure issues are resolved within a timely manner.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT staff or external vendors when necessary.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and access to company systems and networks.
- Conduct training for employees on new software or IT systems.
- Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and licenses.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.
