Position Overview
Responsible for administrative and organizational assistance to the inside sales team, ensuing smooth operations and contributing to the achievement of sales goals. This role involves managing communications, maintaining accurate records, coordinating schedules, and supporting customer interactions to enhance team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications And Skills
- High school diploma/equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving capabilities
Responsibilities and Duties
- Handle correspondence, schedule meetings and manage calendars for the sales team.
- Prepare and organize sales documents, reports and presentations.
- Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems.
- Support the overall sales strategy through efficient and timely responses to customers
- Provide product or service information and direct inquiries to the appropriate sales representative.
- Assist in processing quotes, sales orders and invoices
- Track and follow up on orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Coordinate follow-ups for lead generation and client outreach
- Assist in gathering and analyzing sales data to support decision making
- Research market trends and competitor activities as needed.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to resolve issues
- Organize and manage logistics for team meetings, training sessions and other events
