Position Overview
Monitor inventory levels, regularly providing production status updates to management, and facilitating the timely delivery of products to customers.
A. Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for placing PO’s within the timeline expectations to meet production requirements

Negotiate Supplier Agreements from small to mid-size Agreements
-
Works within the management team to ensure that all deliveries are in align to our Production / delivery schedules
-
Expedite orders when necessary
-
Works directly with suppliers to make sure accurate and on time delivery of materials
-
Update delivery dates in SAP / ERP system for ease of tracking
-
Manages relationships with suppliers, may also be responsible for finding alternative sources when needed

Works with Accounting to set new suppliers up in the system
-
Works with invoice discrepancies / BIL mismatches

Provide ERP / SAP Training
-
Proactively participate, offer, and provide guidance and assistance to others in workflow process

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
B. Qualifications and Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain management or related field or related field or 3+years of equivalent work experience

Experience with supply processes and procedures
-
Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members and suppliers
-
Strong communication/analytical/negotiating skills & organizational skills
-
Understanding of an ERP / SAP System

Strong Attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate

Ability to work with a team or independently
-
Must be able to work in a matrixed, highly collaborative, and fast paced environment

Work in an autonomous environment with minimal direct supervision
C. Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain management or related field or related field or 3+years of equivalent work experience
- Hands on SAP T-Code buyer experience
D. Terms of Employment
- Reports to Materials & Supply Chain Manager / SAP
- Light cleaning of work area
